Not sure where to start

Which training do you actually need?

Four situations we are asked about constantly, and the straight answer for each.

Someone starts this week

Induction skills come before a new starter handles food. Level 1 covers them in about an hour, so nobody is waiting on a course date.

HACCP Level 1 · €25 →

Staff already in the role

Established food handlers are expected to hold the Level 2 skills too. Both levels in one sitting, and cheaper than buying them apart.

HACCP Level 1 & 2 · €45 →

You run the kitchen

If you write the procedures, train the team and answer the inspector, you need the management layer — not just the handler training.

HACCP Level 3 · €89 →

A whole team to cover

One plan per person covers every course that role needs, instead of ordering courses one at a time and tracking them separately.

Questions

Asked often, answered plainly.

Yes. Irish food law requires food handlers to be trained and supervised commensurate with their work activity — it does not specify a classroom. What matters is that the training covers the right skills and that you can produce a dated record of it. Every certificate here carries a unique number and a QR code an officer can check on the spot. If your Environmental Health Officer or your employer does not accept it, you get your money back.

New to handling food: Level 1. Already established in the role: Level 2. Most Irish businesses buy Level 1 & 2 together, because it covers both in one sitting and costs less than the two apart. If you run the food safety system — you write the procedures and you answer the inspector — you want Level 3.

Three years from the date of issue, which is printed on the certificate along with its verification code. Your training records should show that date. A certificate that has quietly expired is one of the easier things for an inspector to notice.

Immediately. There are no course dates and no waiting list — the course opens the moment it is bought. Most people finish in one sitting and download the certificate as soon as they pass.

Yes. Buy seats and assign them from a manager dashboard, included from your first seat with no minimum spend. If a role needs more than one course, an All Access plan covers that whole role for one price per person.

Build a safer workplace.

One employee. One team. One thousand staff.
